POINTED TABLE RUNNER

SUPPLY LIST AND PRE-CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS

►  The Petite Rapid Fire Hunter’s Star tool is required for this pattern.  This tool makes 5, 6, 7, and 8 inch blocks.  The tool is available at your local quilt shop.

 ► Fabric:

* Multicolored Print (Background, outer border, binding) – 1 1/8 yards

* Coordinating Fabric (Stars, inner border) – 5/8 yard

* Light Background – 1/3 yard

 You will need to pre-cut:

From the Multicolored Print:

 - 2 strips 6” x WOF (Width of Fabric) (Triangles)

  Sub-cut into 8 squares 6” x 6”

  - 2 strips 1 ¾” x WOF (Trapezoids)

  - 4 strips 3” x WOF (Outer Border)

  - 4 strips 2 ½” x WOF (Binding)

From the Coordinating Fabric:

- 6 strips 2 ¼” x WOF (Star Points)

- 4 strips 1 ½” x WOF (Inner Border)

 
From the Light Background:

- 1 strip 6” x WOF (Triangles)

- Sub-cut into 6 squares 6” x 6”

- 2 strips 1 ¾” x WOF (Trapezoids)

►  Coordinating or neutral piecing thread

►  Rotary cutter with fresh blade

►  Cutting mat

►  Masking tape or painter’s tape

►  Sewing machine, clean and oiled, with new needle, ¼” foot

►  Basic sewing supplies:  fabric scissors, pins, seam ripper, etc.

►  Pencil and pad for notes

►  Small iron and pressing surface
